The Beginning of The End

The Beginning of The End5 Entries

One day, you are still inside the same school routine you have complained about for years: early classes, missed lectures, assignments, tests, lecturers, exams, and the ordinary stress of trying to survive another semester. Then suddenly, you look up and realize the end is no longer far away.

That is the feeling behind this first issue of Final Thoughts.

The theme is The Beginning of the End, because that is where we are now. Close enough to leaving to feel the weight of it, but still inside it enough to remember what it feels like.

We asked: "What does it feel like to realize that the version of your life you have known for years is quietly ending?"

Dearest reader,

Welcome to Final Thoughts.

The beginning of the end does not feel the same for everyone. For some, it brings nostalgia. For some, fear. For some, gratitude. For some, the quiet realization that school has changed them in ways they are only just beginning to understand.

These entries approach the theme from different places, but they all return to the same thing: what it means to be close to the end and still trying to make sense of the journey.

We hope you enjoy reading it.
